Today marks a milestone that truly takes our breath away. For one entire decade, the incredible community at Raise 4 Nowzad has been a lifeline for the animals in our care. From the countless parcels packed with love to the relentless effort of organising monthly auctions, this group has been a force of nature. We are beyond thankful to the heart and soul of the group too, Ann. Because of her dedication and the R4N generosity, the total raised as of December 2025 is a staggering: £114,584.00

We also want to confirm that all the animals in our care at our Animal Hospital in the city centre, as well as the retired working animals at our Donkey Sanctuary on the outskirts of Kabul — an area that was particularly targeted — are unharmed. While they are underst

The Nowzad Hospital was an absolute WHIRLWIND of activity yesterday, for World Spay Day - the first one in our new hospital! Our vet team hit an incredible target by the end of the day – carrying out TNVR for 80 stray dogs and cats collected from every corner of Kabul. These animals are currently resting in our hospital, recovering from successful spay and neuter surgeries. By preventing future litters, we’ve removed the heavy physical burden of reproduction and nursing off these animals too –
