One year down, many more to go! Today marks one year since the opening of our first (and so far only!) Nowzad charity shop in Bideford. A year ago, this shop felt like a bold leap into the unknown. The space we found was huge, and we even wondered if we’d manage to fill it with anything meaningful or useful. Well… it turns out the experiment worked better than we ever hoped. 💛 This success belongs to our fantastic volunteers, who show up day after day with kindness, dedication and passion.

🐾 A HUGE “Happy Thanksgiving” from Bone & Rexy! 🇺🇸 Hi everyone! We’re Bone and Rexy, and we’re two of the many lucky pups from Nowzad Animal Hospital in Kabul who made the amazing journey to our forever home here in the USA. Right now, we’re probably sniffing around for some dropped turkey bits (we can dream!) and enjoying the warmth of our wonderful home.
