The response to meet our initial £50,000 target has been nothing short of incredible. In fact, your generosity has taken us beyond that goal!

If the mission allows us to, we will continue to evacuate as many animals as possible out of danger in Kramatorsk — either driven by Pen and the Nowzad crew, or by working through the local contacts and volunteers who have been helping us so much over the past few months.

This achievement has also given our team a massive boost as we now pivot to our next critical challenge: providing vital aftercare for over 100 dogs and cats now safely evacuated.

The Next Chapter: Supporting Our Shelter Partners

Whilst we won’t know the specific future right now of many of the dogs and cats we evacuated, as they await their forever homes, we are supporting those amazing shelters who volunteered to take the evacuated animals in. Their commitment and determination to be part of the solution is so admirable. And to YOU, our amazing supporters, we will do what we can to support them through your donations, with their overall food and medical costs for the foreseeable future.
