Saturday 21st September will see the annual trek to the summit of Snowdon return to raise funds for the vital animal welfare work that the Nowzad charity carries out in Afghanistan.
Join Pen & Hannah as we tackle whatever the weather throws at us as we take a slightly more challenging route than previous years to the summit 1085m above seal level. Joining us will be our amazing friends from Animals Asia making it a fun day out in the glorious mountains of Wales.
Friday 20th September will see an evening social for those who can make it for a quiet drink (or two) to discuss last minute preparations and meet the team.
Saturday 21st is the big summit day!
The challenge is not a race - we cater for all abilities although please understand this is a difficult trek over mountaineous ground (but not requiring ropes) and you will require a good level of fitness.
Saturday evening for those with energy left will find us retired to the pub for a quick update on both charities before the now world famous - not to be missed - quiz begins!
Registration for this event is just £20 and includes a free T-shirt plus we ask you to commit to fundraising at least £150. Full notes on the trek are included with the registration form.
A team of expereinced and extremely professional mountaineers will be accompanying the challenge to act as safety cover throughout the Saturday.
