Meet our very special girl, Echo. Echo may not be able to see the world clearly, but she has found her own beautiful way of experiencing it. Rescued as a tiny baby from the illegal wildlife trade in Afghanistan, Echo arrived at Nowzad frightened and unsure of the people around her. We soon discovered that she was almost completely blind, meaning that unlike her eight companions, returning to the wild would simply not be safe for her. So, Echo stayed with us — and slowly, this nervous little m
