Well done Doctor Mujtaba!

Operation Ark was never just about our animals, the #petsoverpeople was just a horrible lie fabricated by the government (at the time of the evacuation) and echoed by the media.

So we are super proud to annouce that one of our staff who was evacuated under the Operation Ark mission has just qualified as a RCVS Veternarian here in the United Kingdom!

Well done Mujtaba - or should we say Doctor Mujtaba!! He was presented with his certificate of achievement at a ceremony recently in Manchester (too bad he is a Chelsea fan :) ).

3 years of hard study and solid determination has seen our former head veternarian from Kabul qualify to practice in the UK. We are all just so thrilled for him. What an amazing achievement we hope you will agree?

Operation Ark was always about our staff, their families and our animals.

To support the work of Nowzad going forward in Afghanistan and Ukraine please donate here to ensure our vital animal welfare work continues!

Thank you for caring!

Well done Doctor Mujtaba!

A New Chapter for «No Ears»: Meet Tallulah! We are absolutely thrilled to announce the winning name for our beloved foal, formerly known as «No Ears»! Thanks to a wonderful suggestion from Linda Brown, and chosen by Pen, her new name is TALLULAH! Tallulah is a beautiful Native American Indian name meaning «leaping water» or simply “spring” and it suits her perfectly. Her playful spirit and the joy she brings to everyone at the sanctuary truly embody this name. We’re so grateful to everyone wh

Here at Nowzad, we believe every working animal deserves a life free from pain and neglect. That’s why - this particular June 15th - we’re so proud to be l
