Our final run from Kramatorsk. 💔 As the BBC reported yesterday, Russian troops are advancing just to the south of Kramatorsk now, and we are running out of time. The city will soon be within artillery range, so we are loading the Nowzad van and Angela’s car with as many dogs, puppies, and kittens as we can possibly fit, to get them out of danger. Pen and Angela have a long drive ahead to get these animals safely to the shelters in the west, but we have to move fast. Many of these shelters a

This weekend, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and Brisbane Times featured NOWZAD’s work supporting animals affected by the war in Ukraine. I’m hoping to raise $5,000 to help NOWZAD continue providing veterinary care, supporting shelters and assisting animals c

It has been another crazy, non-stop day for Pen, Angela, and the team on the frontlines. A little update... After kicking off the morning (once Pen finally figured out it was indeed Wednesday! 😂), the team hit the ground running with Ksenia to coordinate another critical animal evacuation before the long journey west. Just last night, a litter of newborn puppies was left abandoned right outside the rescue office. With no guarantees of finding them immediate homes, the team took them in withou

If you’ve got one spare minute in your day today, take it to watch these lucky 10 dogs in Ukraine. All thanks to you - our incredible supporters - the Operation Kramatorsk team successfully evacuated all 10 out of the danger zone in far eastern Ukraine last month, and brought them straight to safely in the west of the country. Meet these beautiful faces now resting easy in Hostomel, central Ukraine.. • Bluey (with those stunning, unforgettable eyes, brought in by the army to Lach and Angela
