Paws on the Peak: What a Weekend for Team Nowzad!

Wow... what an absolutely incredible weekend! The air was fresh, the spirits were high, and the Nowzad community came together to do something truly amazing. This past Saturday, a fantastic group of our supporters took on the magnificent Mount Snowdon, all to raise vital funds for the animals of Afghanistan and Ukraine.

And you know what? Every single person who joined the climb made it to the summit! It was a truly Herculean effort, and we couldn't be prouder. As if that wasn't enough, Snowdonia National Park treated us to some absolutely breath-taking views all the way up and down, something you can never guarantee, but what a treat it was!

Sharing the path made the journey even better, and it was brilliant to climb alongside the incredible crew from Animals Asia. There's something so powerful and uplifting about seeing so many wonderful people joining forces for the love of animals.

Of course, the climb wouldn't have been complete without some very special guests. We have to give a huge shout-out to the amazing Afghan dogs that joined in, including the fabulous Lexi and Apple. Watching them conquer the mountain was a beautiful reminder of our mission.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every single person who showed up. Your determination and passion never cease to amaze us. We're already buzzing with excitement... so, same time, same place next year?

That’s a huge barrier that highlights the broader challenges regarding education equality. However, we can still be proud that Nowzad is doing what it can within the existing restrictions. Sometimes, the most impor

What a truly fantastic day we had last week at our Nowzad Animal Hospital in Kabul! Our vet team organised an education day with the animals for around 45 very enthusiastic school students, all focused on teaching them how to be safe around animals and treat them with kindness. The session focused on two crucial topics: rabies prevention and general animal welfare. It was wonderful to see the students soak up all the information! This activity was all about encouraging learning in a friendly a

The first chilly days are arriving in Ukraine, and thanks to your incredible generosity, we are happy to confirm we’ve delivered enough warm, cosy, and yes, very cute clothes for our cats and dogs in the Zaporizhzhia region just in time! The Zaporizhzhia direction remains one of the most challenging areas in Ukraine. Due to constant drone attacks, our volunteers face significant risks and extra effort to deliver essential aid - food, medicines, toys, and, as you can see, vital warm clothing - t
