Former Rescues

All of our Nowzad former street dogs or cats will need a home where love and patience walk hand in hand.

It can be a long road of trial and error and careful supervision is always necessary. Overcoming the Afghan animal’s very territorial nature can have its moments.

We have fully come to appreciate that adopting an Afghan animal is not for everybody as it requires a life time of commitment but could you be the loving home our companion animals are looking for?

All our animals for adoption are vaccinated, neutered, tick flea & wormed & microchipped.

The team at Nowzad feel it is very important to ensure that you and your family / home situation is right for the dog or cat you are considering adopting. Please be as honest with us as you can when you complete the questionnaire. Some of our older dogs or cats that need ‘forever’ homes may not readily accept other dogs that are already living in your home but our younger dogs will settle with the correct introduction and supervision.

This intelligent and gentle girl travelled home on The Ark and found herself the perfect family. She loves to play with her toys (squeaky sprout is best!) and loves to visit the local dog enclosure so she can explore and find all sorts to use her astute senses on. This super friendly sweetheart has really bonded with all her family and loves family visitors. We are thrilled to see her living the best life and give thanks to her family for loving her and giving her this chance to have a safe happy future. Look forward to seeing your further adventures and watch you blossom even more dear girl.
