Former Rescues

All of our Nowzad former street dogs or cats will need a home where love and patience walk hand in hand.

It can be a long road of trial and error and careful supervision is always necessary. Overcoming the Afghan animal’s very territorial nature can have its moments.

We have fully come to appreciate that adopting an Afghan animal is not for everybody as it requires a life time of commitment but could you be the loving home our companion animals are looking for?

All our animals for adoption are vaccinated, neutered, tick flea & wormed & microchipped.

The team at Nowzad feel it is very important to ensure that you and your family / home situation is right for the dog or cat you are considering adopting. Please be as honest with us as you can when you complete the questionnaire. Some of our older dogs or cats that need ‘forever’ homes may not readily accept other dogs that are already living in your home but our younger dogs will settle with the correct introduction and supervision.

Brutus & Russen

Brutus & Russen are fun loving playful inseparable brothers and really struck gold when they were adopted together. Now named Maxx & Mickey they bring lots of smiles, love & laughter each day to their new family. Maxx loves to play fetch with his toy balls, while Mickey loves to play tig and chase. They are both an affectionate pair and will cuddle up with their mum every night. They love watching the birds and bugs from their catio and basking in the sunshine. They are both very vocal especially when it comes to feeding time and certainly have trained their Mum well! Their new Mum says…I feel very lucky and privileged to have them in my life.

Thank you to Emma & family for loving them and to you all for being part of their journey.
