Former Rescues

All of our Nowzad former street dogs or cats will need a home where love and patience walk hand in hand.

It can be a long road of trial and error and careful supervision is always necessary. Overcoming the Afghan animal’s very territorial nature can have its moments.

We have fully come to appreciate that adopting an Afghan animal is not for everybody as it requires a life time of commitment but could you be the loving home our companion animals are looking for?

All our animals for adoption are vaccinated, neutered, tick flea & wormed & microchipped.

The team at Nowzad feel it is very important to ensure that you and your family / home situation is right for the dog or cat you are considering adopting. Please be as honest with us as you can when you complete the questionnaire. Some of our older dogs or cats that need ‘forever’ homes may not readily accept other dogs that are already living in your home but our younger dogs will settle with the correct introduction and supervision.

MOLLY

Sweet little Molly is settling into her new home with our gentle Afghan boy Patch. From the moment they met Patch took her under his wing and Molly is really loving being part of this very special family. She is playing and following her new brother around and things really don’t get better than this. It’s a total joy to see this remarkable duo  living the dream and we send a huge thank you to their Mum for giving them a fabulous home. Each day sees Molly’s confidence grow and that special bond being forged. Happy days ahead now for these two very gentle dogs from two different countries who now have a wonderful future together. Such a happy tale and we love it!

Please consider making a donatation to help another donkey or horse receive the treatment they all so desperately need. Thank-you for caring.
