Adopting A Nowzad Rescue

Qashang

Qashang

Qashang was brought into the Nowzad clinic as a tiny kitten of no more than 3 or 4 weeks old, she had been found in the street all alone by an Afghan man who had been walking by.
She was in good health but depended on us to feed her as she was so young.

Understandably, the kind Afghan man who had saved her was not able to offer her a home as he already had cats of his own, so we began to look for a loving, new family for her.

In July 2014 we were visited by a reporter from the Daily Star who immediately fell for her and knew that he and his girlfriend could offer her a safe and loving forever home.

Fundraising soon started and in December 2014, Qashang was old enough to head to the UK with her new family.
