Ted came into Afghanistan as a working dog with a private contracting company. Shortly after he arrived Ted became very nervous and was soon unable to do his job. The company quickly took Ted onto base to see a US Army vet but sadly there was nothing that could be done to help him get over his nervousness.
The Army agreed that they would keep Ted and take care of his wellbeing and one of the vets that was treating him soon got him back to his happy go lucky self by smothering him with love and attention. Ted became a real hit on camp and playtime with Ted was a huge stress relief to the soldiers who he came into contact with. One soldier in particular enjoyed spending time with Ted and decided to adopt Ted from the Army.
Once our amazing supporters had raised the funds to be able to get him home we arranged his flights to Germany where he has now been reunited with his adopted family.
