The Super 7 had spent almost their entire lives at the Nowzad shelter after being rescued as pups by a Canadian teacher in 2010. Emma the mom had given birth to a large litter and clearly needed a safe place to stay. Our Afghan team ensured the litter of pups and mom were neutered and kept safe.
The Canadian teacher who had first brought them in never forgot them and during 2011 contacted us to say he wanted to bring them all to Canada. Our amazing family of supporters stepped up and raised the money required for their flights.
Air Canada stepped in and offered free flights from Frankfurt to Canada which meant we were able to successfully rehome all 7 dogs in Canada.
