Today, as Ukraine marks 35 years of independence, we stand with a nation whose strength continues to inspire us all.

Since the war began in 2022, Nowzad has worked side by side with the incredible rescue teams, vets, and shelter volunteers who refuse to walk away from animals in danger. Through Operation Kramatorsk, more than 100 dogs and cats have been brought out of the worst of the fighting.

Getting them off the frontlines was a vital first step, but their journey is far from over. Hungry, traumatised, and often injured, these animals need urgent food, medical care, and a safe place to heal. The frontline shelters that opened their doors are stretched to breaking point.

As August draws to a close, please stand with us and the everyday heroes on the ground giving everything to protect these innocent lives. Every donation, no matter the size, directly fuels this lifeline. They survived the frontlines. Now, let’s give them the safety and care they deserve.
