As winter approaches in Kabul, dropping temperatures bring real challenges for the animals in our care — especially our elderly shelter dogs with aching joints, like Diesel, Babri, and Fury, Ramy with her chronic skin condition, and then also any young pups recovering in our emergency hospital.
To keep our most vulnerable patients safe and comfortable, we are building three dedicated, heated kennels at our Kabul Hospital.

This week, our volunteer David attended a brilliant Bingo Night at The Cedars Inn in Barnstaple, where they kindly hold monthly events in support of local charities.
A huge thank you to our wonderful Bideford charity shop volunteers, Carol and Sharon, who nominated Nowzad to benefit from this month’s event. With almost 100 people joining in, it was certainly eyes down for Nowzad!
