Imagine - it’s 10:00 PM in Kramatorsk, the skies are quiet for once, but the reality of frontline rescue arrives at the door.
On Friday night, the military arrived in darkness to hand over a dog to Dr Lach and Angela – a thin, exhausted, and absolutely frozen dog from the frontline.
Our two didn't have much on hand, but he happily accepted some pasta, giving the bowl a very grateful lick! And, then after the last mouthfall, sauntered right over to Angela for some much-needed scratches!

Well, it’s CATURDAY here again in Ukraine , and while the sounds of the frontline aren’t so far away, the sound we’re focusing on today is the miaows of these tiny survivors.
Angela and Dr. Lach are back on the ground in the far east as of yesterday, as part of “Operation Kramatorsk”. Between evacuating animals from the handful of shelters and foster homes, they’ve been running pop-up clinics and making home visits to the local volunteers who stayed behind.
