With the summer heat in Kabul now getting hotter and hotter, providing relief for our donkeys and horses was a top priority. Thanks to our incredibly generous friends at Network for Animals, we have officially completed construction on a brand-new, sheltered feeding area, and it is now in full use!
As you can see, it provides amazing shade and cool

Baba’s Story
Just a couple of weeks ago, Ksenia, Pen, Lach, Angela and Nina safely evacuated “Baba” from the frontlines of Kramatorsk and brought her to the safety of the Gostomel shelter. For 10 long years, Baba had lived on the army base at the airport, turning up as a stray but acting as the most loyal mascot and a source of comfort and warmth for the troops serving their time there.

The war in Ukraine hasn’t just displaced people. It has also led to a huge increase in stray and abandoned animals.
Thank you everyone who has watched the first little trailer from Orange Planet Pictures’ new film, all about Nowzad and our work in Ukraine - particularly the importance of neutering and sterilisation programmes (commonly called TNVR).
Without these kind of programmes in a country at war, the situation grows rapidly worse. Puppies and kittens are born into incredibly difficult

Our roving ambassador, Fury, was out catching some rays today with Babri and Diesel. They might be thousands of miles away from the UK, but these 3 are definitely channelling those May Bank Holiday vibes today — just with a lot more guaranteed sunshine!
That midday Kabul heat is no joke though, so we made sure they were properly kitted out..
