Big news from our Kabul hospital! We are absolutely thrilled to unveil our incredible new, purpose-built dog exercise area at Nowzad’s 24/7 veterinary hospital in Kabul!
Spanning an impressive 2,500 square feet, this new space gives our recovering patients and long-term residents the safe area they truly deserve. Designed with every detail in mind, the yard features sun-soaked rest spots, shaded retreats to keep everyone comfortable during the warmer hours, and exploration zones tailored specifically for both adult dogs finding their confidence and puppies bursting with energy. Puppies just like these gorgeous little ones that were brought in to us last week, after their poor mum had been killed in a car accident.

Your unwavering support makes a tangible difference to animals in crisis every single day—thank you so much!
And the excitement doesn't stop here. Looking ahead, we will be packing this area full of toys, equipment, and sensory activities as part of our enrichment project starting early next year, ensuring our dogs thrive both physically and mentally while in our care.
