As winter approaches in Kabul, dropping temperatures bring real challenges for the animals in our care — especially our elderly shelter dogs with aching joints, like Diesel, Babri, and Fury, Ramy with her chronic skin condition, and then also any young pups recovering in our emergency hospital.
To keep our most vulnerable patients safe and comfortable, we are building three dedicated, heated kennels at our Kabul Hospital.
And guess what??! If you donate, it will go twice as far!
All thanks to the wonderful Macquarrie family — long-time supporters who adopted their Afghan rescue dog, Palang from Nowzad — every pound donated will be matched by them pound-for-pound, up to £1,500.
This match fund was created in loving memory of their son and brother, Alisdair - turning grief into a lasting legacy of protection and care for animals in need.
Please join us in honouring Alisdair’s memory and providing warmth to the dogs who need it most.
