This week, our volunteer David attended a brilliant Bingo Night at The Cedars Inn in Barnstaple, where they kindly hold monthly events in support of local charities.
A huge thank you to our wonderful Bideford charity shop volunteers, Carol and Sharon, who nominated Nowzad to benefit from this month’s event. With almost 100 people joining in, it was certainly eyes down for Nowzad!
Thanks to the generosity of everyone who took part in the bingo, together with the raffle organised by Carol and Sharon, an incredible £818 was raised for Nowzad.
We are so grateful to The Cedars Inn for hosting such a lovely evening, to Carol and Sharon for making it happen, to David for representing Nowzad, and of course to every single person who came along, bought a raffle ticket, played bingo and helped raise this wonderful amount.
£818 will make a real difference to the animals who rely on our help. Thank you from all of us at Nowzad — and from the animals too!
