we are beyond thrilled to share the incredible conclusion to a fight for survival that started back in January this year.
Working hand-in-hand with Afghanistan’s National Environmental Protection Agency (NEPA), the Nowzad team officially released 10 young macaques this week - back into the wild in Laghman Province, where they belong!
After being rescued by NEPA and Nowzad from Nimroz Province in the east (some of you may remember our Facebook post and newsletter back then?) and then spending time with our vets in rehabilitation gaining strength, health, and confidence, these brave young primates have taken their very first steps back into their natural habitat this week.
