To relieve the suffering of animals; including companion animals, working equines, stray and abandoned dogs and cats and all other animals in need of care and attention, and to provide and maintain where possible; rescue, rehabilitation and education facilities for the care and treatment of such animals with no voice but ours.
When war tore through communities in Ukraine, it wasn’t only people whose lives were changed forever. Hundreds of horses were left abandoned, traumatised by the horrors of conflict, until Horse Paradise Rescue Sanctuary gave them a second chance.
Kathy had hoped to join our Snowdon Climb this September, but as the route is too steep and challenging, she’s created her own adventure by climbing Moel Famau instead. After completing her climb, she’ll meet the Nowzad team before the Snowdon event and present the funds she’s raised.
When roadwork began in Pul-e-Charkhi, Kabul, engineers made a discovery beneath the asphalt they were breaking up - 15 tiny puppies from four different litters, all huddled together inside holes under the road.
