Mark your calendars for Saturday, 16 May 2026! We are thrilled to announce that Vijay Kritzinger will be representing Nowzad at the Domain, Northumbria University, from 11 am to 3.30 pm. She will be running the special charity fundraising stand hosted by our friends at North East Animal Rights (N.E.A.R.).

Newcastle is the place to be this May for a celebration of compassion, community, and great music. While you enjoy the festival vibes and explore the plant-based treats, be sure to stop by the N.E.A.R. stand on Sandyford Road.

Vijay will be there to share the latest updates on our mission to rescue and protect animals in conflict zones like Afghanistan and Ukraine. It is a fantastic opportunity to meet one of our dedicated champions in person, learn more about where your support goes, and enjoy a fun day out for a good cause.
