Former Rescues

All of our Nowzad former street dogs or cats will need a home where love and patience walk hand in hand.

It can be a long road of trial and error and careful supervision is always necessary. Overcoming the Afghan animal’s very territorial nature can have its moments.

We have fully come to appreciate that adopting an Afghan animal is not for everybody as it requires a life time of commitment but could you be the loving home our companion animals are looking for?

All our animals for adoption are vaccinated, neutered, tick flea & wormed & microchipped.

The team at Nowzad feel it is very important to ensure that you and your family / home situation is right for the dog or cat you are considering adopting. Please be as honest with us as you can when you complete the questionnaire. Some of our older dogs or cats that need ‘forever’ homes may not readily accept other dogs that are already living in your home but our younger dogs will settle with the correct introduction and supervision.

GRACEY

Our gentle golden senior girl Gracey was looking for a special understanding home and she was lucky enough to find the perfect match. Gracey has really taken to living in her new home and has fully bonded with her new family. Days are spent playing, digging her little bunker in the garden and helping her Mum with other garden chores like being keeper of any old flower pots she can find! She really has blossomed in such a short space of time and it brings such total joy & happiness for us to see her transformation and finding her inner puppy. Thank you to her new family for giving her the best life and making her & our dream for her come true.
