Daft was born and then raised in Western Afghanistan by the soldier that had found him. Without a doubt this pup had landed on his feet with lots of enjoyable left over military rations and kept in the warm accommodation overnight.

The soldier was in no rush to be separated from Daft and for once we were given plenty of notice about the need to assist with the transport and funding to have Daft moved to the USA.

In February 2011 Daft was handed his green card!
