Lexi was brought into our clinic by a kind local Afghan who found her in a pitiable state on the streets — injured, in pain, and desperately needing help. She arrived with a severe, long‑neglected injury to her front leg. Despite several days of intensive treatment and supportive care, the damaged portion of her lower leg became non‑viable and eventually detached. Once the wound fully healed, it was clear that Lexi could not safely survive as a free‑roaming cat, so she remained in our cat room while we searched for a loving home in the West.

Lexi has adapted remarkably well to life on three legs. She enjoys a comfortable, happy routine, and although she manages beautifully, she benefits from soft environments — gentle surfaces and grass help prevent minor sores from developing on the end of her affected limb.

Lexi is friendly, affectionate, and sociable. She gets along well with people and other cats, and she could live with a calm dog. She loves sitting on a cat tree, watching the world from above, and playing with her toys. While she enjoys affection, Lexi prefers it on her own terms — she is not a cat who wants constant cuddling, but she deeply appreciates gentle, patient companionship.

This beautiful girl has survived so much and still greets the world with softness. She truly deserves a loving home with someone who will cherish her gentle nature and give her the safe, peaceful life for which she has been waiting.
