Adopting A Nowzad Rescue

Kohi

Kohi

Kohi was brought into the Nowzad shelter with his brothers and sister in July 2014 for their vaccinations.  They had been plucked from the streets by an Afghan family who had seen their mother was not around.  Sadly after a few months the family were struggling to find enough money to feed 4 growing pups so they came back to Nowzad and asked if we would take them in.

In October 2014 we had a visit at the Nowzad clinic from Tony Lewis, the father of fallen British soldier Conrad Lewis.  Tony fell in love with the pups and he immediately offered a home to Kohi.

In Dec 2014 we were able to send Kohi to the UK to live with his new family who also included Peg, the dog that Nowzad had rescued a few years previously.
