BLACKY

Male • DOB December 2024 Neutered • Fully vaccinated • Microchipped • FELV tested

Blacky is a stunning young boy who was brought into our clinic after being attacked by a pack of dogs. He was unable to use his hind legs, and following X‑rays and further examination, our findings suggested he had sustained trauma to his spine. He received intensive supportive care and treatment to stabilise him and give him the best chance of recovery. Over time, Blacky made remarkable progress, gaining strength, standing on his own, and eventually walking again. Although he has recovered physically, his behaviour and confidence were not suitable for surviving safely as a free‑roaming cat. For this reason, we decided to keep him in our care until we can find him a safe, understanding home in the West.

Blacky has no ongoing medical concerns related to his injury and enjoys a comfortable, healthy life with us. But shelter life is not fair for such a young cat. Day by day, he is learning to trust people, and once he feels safe, he becomes relaxed, affectionate, and very approachable. He loves being brushed and enjoys gentle strokes — these moments help him feel secure and connected.

He gets along very well with other cats and would happily live with a feline companion. Blacky is a calm, gentle soul who needs a patient, loving home — a place where he can continue building confidence and finally experience the safety and affection he deserves.

This beautiful boy has survived so much. We are desperate to find him a home in the West where we know he will truly blossom.
