BENTO

Male • Tripaw • DOB February 2025 Neutered • Fully vaccinated • Microchipped • Brucella tested

Bento was brought to our clinic by a local after surviving a horrific traffic accident. His front leg had suffered a severe, long‑neglected fracture, and by the time he reached us the wound was badly infected and infested with maggots. With intensive nursing care, treatment, and rehabilitation, Bento slowly began to heal.

Although he has recovered from the trauma, the toes on his left front paw were lost. As he grew into adulthood and gained weight, he became unable to use that left front leg. This shifted all his weight onto his right front leg, which has developed a curvature and slight deformity However his disability does not stop him from living a joyful, active life. He will only be able to go on short walks.

Bento can run, play, explore, and interact happily with people and other dogs. He is loving, calm, gentle, and incredibly friendly. He enjoys human touch and companionship and forms close bonds with dogs of a similar age and size. He loves playing with balls, enjoys interactive games, and has a bright, intelligent mind that delights in working things out.

Soft places and warm sunlight are his favourite comforts. He is a sensitive, loyal, playful companion who asks for very little and gives so much in return.

Bento is a truly lovely boy who has endured unimaginable hardship with grace. He deserves a safe, kind, loving home in the West — a place where he can finally rest, play, and be cherished.
