The Nowzad charity delivers animal welfare in Afghanistan and Ukraine. Our clinic in Kabul is has reopened delivering vital support to over worked horses and donkeys toiling on the streets of Kabul whilst providing care and treatment to injured animals; mainly cats and dogs. In Ukraine during this devastating conflict caused by Russia’s illegal invasion, the Nowzad charity is delivering vital aid via our headquarters in Lviv, to those in desperate need of animal supplies in the east and south of the country. To relieve the suffering of animals; including companion animals, working equines, stray and abandoned dogs and cats and all other animals in need of care and attention, and to provide and maintain where possible; rescue, rehabilitation and education facilities for the care and treatment of such animals with no voice but ours.

The Nowzad Snowdon challenge is back!!

On the 14th September 2024 do you think you have what it takes to trek to the top of Mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park in North Wales? At a height of 1085m it is no ‘walk in the park’ (excuse the pun), but a serious undertaking as the weather, personal fitness and mountain environment are all factors to be considered!
