Ghost

Ghost Ghost

We received a call from a concerned American at the US embassy; ‘We usually have lots of cats and dogs roaming around the Embassy and we become friendly with those that allow us to approach them, I noticed Ghost a few months back, she would come around and play with an adult yellow lab as a small pup, and gradually started approaching the Security teams.
She was friendly and just wanted attention and was very malnourished. Myself along with several co-workers took it upon ourselves to give her food, play with her and soon after she was letting us hold her, sit in our laps and more often than not.. fall asleep.
My family are dog lovers, every dog we have had has had a long healthy life and treated very well, we had a Belgian Shepherd and a Cocker Spaniel mix pass away about 4 years ago at the ages of 16 and 17, then we rescued a Maltese-Shiatsu mix and a Chihuahua-Yorkie mix from a puppy mill soon after and they are doing well and living a very happy life.

So giving Ghost a great home is not an issue, all our pets are a part of the family and pretty much run the place. The reason I want to bring Ghost into my home is I have become very attached to her, when she sees me she spins in circles and runs laps around me before she comes up to sit in my lap. She is a very sweet pup, that needs a safe environment to live a long healthy life. There is pack of feral dogs that roam the area and have attacked her several times. We didn't see her for a few days thinking the worse has happened and started searching for her. She finally started showing up again but not as often due to being attacked.
She deserves a better life than what she has and I'm willing to give her a long healthy life and a loving home.

The Nowzad team leapt into action & Ghost was safely transported to the Nowzad clinic where she immediately became everyone’s favourite due to her amazingly friendly nature.

Fundraising for Ghost did not take long at all and Ghost, during July 2017, was soon on her way to re-join her saviour from the embassy at his family home in Seattle.
