Our goal at Nowzad is to promote dogs and cats as a great addition to the household and a loving member of the family, to the Afghan public.
Once destined to a life on the streets, these former strays have been rescued by Nowzad then spayed/neutered, vaccinated and have now found loving homes with local Afghan families.
We have even had local homes come forward to offer a foster home to help prepare a beloved pet for their new environment in the west.
Last year we saw a record number of our deserving rescued animals go to loving homes within Afghanistan, in addition to the UK, USA and other countries!
