Rosie was found after she was abandoned in a compound dumpster in Herat in an astounding act of cruelty. 
She was taken into the base where she quickly learned basic commands.
Her days there were numbered as she was forbidden to stay on the base so her owner frantically contacted Nowzad to ask for help.

We swiftly arranged to get Rosie to the safety of the Nowzad clinic where she settled in with the other rescue puppies that were in our care at the time and she happily spent her days playing and eating.

Yet again, thanks to the amazing Nowzad family, Rosie was soon funded and heading home to her new family in America in May 2014.
