Puff and Tigris were born on a base on Kuwait as strays.  

Their mother had safely hidden her kittens under an office building on the base, but it wasn’t long before the kittens started to wander around and befriend the soldiers.

 Puff and Tigris managed to win the affections of a couple of American soldiers serving on the base and the decision was made that they simply couldn’t be left behind in Kuwait.

Their soldiers contacted us and with the help of a Nowzad volunteer who was in Kuwait at the time (Karen), we were able to get them transported to safety and then eventually to their forever home in April 2015.
