Saved from the streets of Kabul after a horrific road traffic accident, Khushbakht meaning ‘Lucky’ only just survived. We had no choice but to completely remove both of her back legs.

Not that Khushbakht let that stand her way – a one-woman war as she has been described Khush, now known as Iris, always seems to get want she wants!
With amble room to wander in a delightful back garden Iris has taken to her outdoor heated pod as opposed to the welcoming warmth of the house she now owns! We are forever grateful to Marianne for being there for Iris. Thank you!
