On the 11th March in Stoke on Trent; Pen will be telling the 'tail' of how he met Nowzad the dog 10 years ago in a remote forward operating base in Helmand Province, Afghanistan.
Join Pen as he recounts the story of Nowzad, the cropped eared fighting dog that became the inspriation for the Nowzad charity that has now supported over 1000 soldiers to be reunited with their companion animals. There will be an opportunity to buy signed copies of 'One Dog at a Time' the book Pen wrote describing the mission to rescue Nowzad from the most dangerous placed on Earth.
Starting at 7pm at the Oak Hill Bowling Club, Daintry Lane, Stoke on Trent, ST4 5NN tickets are just £12 for adults and £5 for children and includes food! (Drinks not included but are available from the bar).
