Little Trigger arrived at the Nowzad shelter in February 2012. He had been living on a base a few hours South of Kabul along with his friend Roxy. Little Trigger had a loving owner who wanted to get him to the safety of the Nowzad shelter and home to the USA so she could ensure his future safety.
Several attempts to get Trigger to the shelter were made but extremely bad weather forced cancellation of the mission until finally the snow let up and he was safely collected and brought in. Trigger received a clean bill of health and all of his vaccinations and in April 2012 he was reunited with his owner in the USA.
