Young Junior was born on a British Army base in Souther Afghanistan around 4 months ago. He was one of a litter of 3 pups who were adopted by the soldiers and contractors on the base.

When the lads on the base were told that the pups had to go they immediately contacted us and asked for our help.  So, we arranged for Young Junior, Marmaduke and their sister to be transported to the Afghan rescue so that we could make arrangements to send them home.

Sadly, Marmaduke contracted an illness and we were unable to save him but Young Junior went from strength to strength at the rescue and recently made his long journey back to the UK where he will spend 6 months in quarantine before joining his owner at home.

Sadly, a few weeks after completing his journey to the UK, Young Junior became ill and succumbed to distemper.  He was a great little fella who is going to be missed by his owner Andy and all that knew him.
