We were contacted about MO by an American soldier serving in the Wardak Province of Afghanistan. They had found the little critter as a pup when out training in preparation for a patrol. There was no way the American lads could just leave the scared looking hungry pup out there on his own and ‘Mo’ as he was quickly named, found his way on to their base and a bowl of left over military rations.
We are pleased to say thanks to the efforts of the Nowzad team and an Afghan interpreter Mo made it to the safety of the Afghan animal shelter before undertaking the long journey to the US. Currently Mo is loving life as a family pet with the soldiers brother until he completes his tour of duty.

All the best to Mo and his guardians! All the best to the organization!
it brings a sense of great warmth whenever I read about the rescues. Keep up the good work. It’s so rewarding to know how the charity has grown – how fortunate for all the animals you have and will continue to help.
I support the charity and will continue to do so.
You and the charities you work with are all these animals have.
